Carl and I were close friends from 4th Grade (Sunset View) until about our Sophmore year. Once I started working, we didn't do too much together after that. I was shocked when I found out on my mission that he had died from injuries sustained in a rollover accident. I remember he was a great wrestler during high school.

Man what a flood of memories this brings back. Carl was a great friend to me in a lot of ways. A lot the gang use to hang out at my apartment on the weekends. I felt really bad because this happened on one of the weekends I was out of town. Sometimes life doesn't seem fair. "Only the good die young".

carl and i were lucky enough to be pretty good friends, so much so that when we tried to date...well, he was too much like a brother! but he remained a good buddy, till i got married, i watched him wrestle a couple of times, ill take todds word for it that he was good, sherry and i just liked the outfits...wink wink! janene j olsen
I met Carl in 11 grade through John Larsen and Dave Snyder. He would do anything for anybody. He was always sticking up for the underdog. He was the captain of the wrestling team and was everyone's fan. He was a devoted son ,brother and friend. The night of his accident was the worst day in my life. So many people kept a vigil at the hospital.His parents are the greatest people in the world and I know how much their heart aches for him. I marrried his brother and we had 4 sons,our second looks just like Carl and we named our 3 after him. It was a honor and blessing for having known him.
